Its been quite hectic these days . Though its not because I am studying hard .
I've been partying like a rock star . Karaoke session , alcohol nights , steamboats , shopping , outings with housemates and not to forget Valentine's day .
I've been meaning to post an entry on each event that filled my day . But , by the end of the day . I would be too exhausted . Sleep comes first !
For now , I am running out of cash . Which means that i have to stay in from now on .
Here's what I got for Valentine's Day .

Alcohol 's magical .
Had a night of alcohol yesterday with my friends at vista .
In the end , 3 were drunk . 3 sober . I was one of the sober ones ...
Alcohol changes you . It either brings out the sadness in you or the happiness in you .
Yesterday . It was both cases .
One which turned out to be the entertainment of the night .
Another , a sad and depressing story .
Things turned out way out of my expectations . I saw . I learnt . I experienced .
We hear stories about ppl getting drunk . But i've never seen such things happen before my eyes . I've never dealt with a drunkard . I've never knew what should be done .
I feel like i'd been in a well all this time .

Should boyfriends (bfs) call girlfriends (gfs) ?
Should gfs call bfs ?
A friend of mine said that both should call each other ... Alright then .
Is it normal for d gf to call while the bf just waits for the gf's call ?
Is it normal for bfs to be so busy till they have no time , not even 1 minute to call or sms gfs ??
What if , the bf calls very rare , while the gf is the one who makes the calls ? is that normal ?
Is it normal for bfs to call only when the gf ask him to or when the gf miscalled him ??
Is it normal that bfs have time for his friends , shopping , jamming , having dinner and supper but can't find the time to type a text message or dial his gfs number ??
Is it normal for bfs to forget the gfs existence ??
Is it normal for gfs to say the 3 big words instead of the bf saying it ??
It is this much that a gf can resist . Her patience has reached its ultimate super infinity maximum .
So she goes on strike. She refrains from making calls and answering calls . In hope that he'll send a sms .

I don't like PBL !!!
PBL stands for Problem Based Learning . There are 2 sessions of it per week .
In the first PBL . You get a trigger / a case / a scenario .
Then you discuss with your group of 10 students about the issues to be learnt from this trigger .
After the first discussion , everybody goes home and starts researching on the topics and learning issues . Those people who are super hardworking would go to the library and search the books instead .
Our PBL group members change each semester... If you are very "ong" , then you'll get all the introverts . If you are "sueeeeh '' , you become the introvert .
On thursdays( 2nd PBL session ) - DOOMS DAY , i would say , we throw out everything that we've researched.
This semester . Nilesh Kumar Mitra is my PBL facilitator . About Nilesh , he's the super anatomist , the one who knows A-Z about anatomy . He's a Sri Langkan . And ... in anatomy ... terms are in Latin . Put together Sri Lang Ka accent and Latin terms , you get a medic student with suicidal thoughts .
I am not going to say that he's a bad facilitator . In fact , he is a very good one . But , so much details , all which sound like alien language to us ... well not all , but , me of course .
There's this guy in PBL who is super super knowledgeable . He could talk in the same alien language as Nilesh . And i heard that he 's older than any of us students and he might even have a wife already . Im wondering if he'd graduated with a Microbiology degree . This super student answers all Nilesh's questions . The good thing about that is that he saves other PBL mates of the awkward silence when nobody has anything to say. Plus , we can actually learn a lot from him . The bad thing about this is that he dominates the PBL . which means that he might be the reason to why i fail my PBL in future .
Some how , i don't dare to speak up . I don't dare to cease the opportunity from others to speak my mind . I search a lot and read up but it always turn out irrelevant .
I think i have to change my method of preparing for PBL .
There are 10 PBL sessions in this semester .

Medical Museum Sessions are either 8.00 am , which is too early , or 5.15 pm which is too late .
Clinical Skills Unit is the extra something on the timetable which wasn't in Semester 1 ( which was already perfect and need no addition in activities )
I'll have increasing pimples every Monday to Thursday . PBLs 1 & 2 are in the same week ( PBL 1 on Mondays , PBL 2 on Thursdays ) .
Bacteria , virus , fungi and parasites replace Sin Dee and Cheryl's roles as my buddies .

Today . Semester 2 in IMU starts .
10.30 am is the time . The Deans will be briefing us .
Its half an hour to 10.30 am .
A little happiness . So much reluctance .
God , can you make today a public holiday too ??
It doesn't have to be a memorable or one that honors a dead man .
Just make it a public holiday because of the man who invented beds , the Laptops and the internet .
I'm not ready .
Still ..
Will I get back my feng shui seat in the auditorium ?
How would i go about my day from now ?
Will I give Nilesh Kumar Mitra ( my PBL fascilitator ) a good impression ??
Will I get along with my PBL group mates ??
Will some ppl be more considerate ? And be more " xing mu " ?
